The introduction of the Recovery Movement Control Order means that Little League Soccer outdoor training is now back in a limited capacity!
See details below on how the ‘new-look’ training will run, and register online for a class at your preferred venue, time and date.
Please note: following our RMCO SOPs, registration closes at 8pm the night before each training session
The introduction of the Recovery Movement Control Order means that Little League Soccer outdoor training can return in a limited capacity on Saturday 20th June! After 3 months of online training only, our sessions can final begin to return to the outdoors with some strict guidelines and operating procedures. So how will training during the RMCO look?
Until further notice, all Little League Soccer training sessions during the RMCO will take place at The New Camp, Bandar Utama. We will update all parents If and when other venues become available.
Times and Dates
From Saturday 27th June, sessions will take place on Saturdays and Sundays with the following time slots:
Under 6 & Under 8: 8:00–8:45am
Under 10 & Under 12: 9:00–9:45am
Under 14 & Under 16: 10:00–10:45am
Number of Players
Each training session will be strictly limited to 24 players, with a 6:1 child to coach ratio. These players will be spread across The New Camp’s 2 full-size football fields – a space of over 12,000 square metres. Until social distancing rules regarding football are relaxed, each player will train in their own individual area.
To ensure classes are as productive as possible, each age group will be allocated set times for their training sessions.
Training sessions will last 45 minutes to allow sufficient time for players who have completed their class to leave the pitch before players arrive for the next class. All players and parents are asked to leave the field promptly after their session and, when arriving, to remain in their vehicle until their session is ready to begin.
Classes cost RM25 per player.
All players entering the field will have their temperature checked and recorded and their name ticked on the session attendance register. If a child records a temperature higher than 37C they will not be allowed to enter and will be asked to return home (parents, if you are not staying at The New Camp, please ensure your child has been granted access to the field before you depart).
While we usually encourage parents to watch their children play from the sidelines, during the RMCO parents are asked to remain in their vehicles and not come on to the field. This is to help us reduce the number of people at The New Camp. You will be required to enter your phone number when registering for a class; this number will be used in the case of an emergency or if the parent is required for any reason.
